FreeD Support - Live VR/AR Video Production
The EV-PTZ-4K-12G supports the increasingly popular FreeD protocol, which outputs the camera's positional data over IP in real-time. This enables users to work with state-of-the-art Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR) sets without the need for additional sensors.
Advanced Facial Recognition Autofocus System
The EV-PTZ-4K-12G is also equipped with a state-of-the-art facial recognition autofocus system. As such, the EV-PTZ-4K-12G can intelligently identify human faces and automatically detect the eyes and mouth. This enables the camera to keep the subject in sharp focus all the time.
Easy to Operate and High-Precision Camera Controls
With a top-mounted tally light, the EV-PTZ-4K-12G notifies the crew and talent which camera is currently in use. It provides clear communication and is especially useful in multi-camera productions and broadcast studios. With high-precision motor control and an advanced transmission mechanism, the EV-PTZ-4K-12G achieves high-speed pan and tilt at up to 300° per second. Camera movement is smooth and judder-free, even at low speeds.
